Any content writer will appreciate this program. With all its features, InfoHesiveEP Freeware is a handy publishing tool designed to make your work easier.

You only need to download a package, almost 15 Mb large. You may have to wait a bit longer if your Internet connection is weak, but considering that the program is free, it's worth being a bit more patient. The installation process is straight forward. It won't ask you anything else except a destination path if it should place any shortcuts.

Running the program for the first time may intimidate you a bit, but if you're familiar with other text editing software such as MS Word, you won't have any problems here. You'll find the same kind of buttons on the toolbar for text editing and other functions.

If you take a closer look, you'll notice that the interface is not so scary. The main window is divided into two sections, each one with its own toolbars. On the left side there's an outliner where you can organize the structure of your document. This area has two other tabs that lead you to a search option and the document's index. The right side of the window is where you write your actual content. Every button on this section's toolbar will be familiar to you because they're basic text editing tools that you can find in any software that involves typing.

Using the "new work space" button on the outliner side of the window lets you create either an eBook or a help and project file. Structuring a document here can be done from the "outliner" menu on top of the window, but it's easier doing this by right and left clicking in the outliner itself. You can create new topics, article items, URL or file items. The last two are only available if you create a help and project file. A really useful feature is that you can create a table of contents or index page with just two clicks. Right click anywhere on the outliner, and click on the designated option. It will be created and placed automatically without you needing to navigate a separate window and fill in lots of option fields.

You can work with more than one work space at a time. Create how many eBooks or help files you want, and you can access them via tabs on the bottom side of the window. You can save the workspace you're on or all of them at once in the program's own format. You can also export them in a wider range of formats such as .PDF, .EPUB, .CHM, .HTML and others. InfoHesiveEP has a lot more features, too many to count, that won't leave you wanting for more. For example, you can build a trial version and generate serial numbers to protect your publication. This is done by checking this option in the settings menu.
